Nokia 7 introduced officially: a budget-friendly smartphone with flagship-like features

We knew that a new Nokia was about to be introduced soon on the market and HMD Global did not want to wait any longer. The Finnish company has introduced the new Nokia 7, a mid-range smartphone that is situated, as its numbers indicate, below the Nokia 8 but borrowing some of the qualities that this flagship, announced a couple of months, includes.

HMD Global unexpectedly announced its new smartphone Nokia 7, the release of which, according to rumors, was to take place next year. It has been puzzled and speculated, but now it is official: HMD Global brings with the Nokia 7 another Android smartphone on the market. The smartphone was introduced in China, and soon it will be available in other markets as well. It really is something between the budget-friendly Nokia 6and the flagship Nokia 8. The first thing that catches your eye is the rear glass panel, as well as the fingerprint scanner behind. The front panel holds a classic 5.2-inch Full HD (1920х1080) screen, resulting in a pixel density of 423 PPI.

Nokia 7 is the first smartphone company that offers a combination of glass and aluminum frame. The rear panel of the smartphone is equipped with a three-layer 3D glass Gorilla Glass 3 with rounded edges 2.5D, surrounded by a series 7000 aluminum frame. Rating IP54 ensures that the device will be protected from splashes.

Like Nokia 8, Nokia 7 has got a rather wide framework above and below the display. On the bottom panel are the capacitive control buttons for Android. Under the display of the 7.9-millimeter flat Nokia 7 is a battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh, which can be supplied with new energy via a new USB-Type-C connector.
